“GIG” Trio consists of Gordan Tudor, saxophones, Ivan Batoš, piano and Goran Jurkovic, saxophones. It is a chamber ensemble founded in 2006 after the successful concert at the 52nd Split Summer Festival, where they performed Francis Poulenc Trio. For that concert, Gordan Tudor and Ivan Batoš received the award "Judita" for the best musical performance on the Split Summer Festival. Besides the premiered pieces by Croatian and foreign composers, created at the initiative of members of the ensemble, the main part of the GIG Trio repertoire consists of transcriptions of capital pieces of chamber repertoire for piano trio and similar ensembles.
