5 Porin nominations for Papandopulo Quartet !!!

Papandopulo Quartet won 5 nominations for "Porin Award" thanks to our debut album "Papandopulo". We are  delighted and grateful to be nominated for: 
-best classical music album
-best classical music performance
-best classical music recording (Krešimir Petar Pustički)
-best classical music production (Krešimir Petar Pustički)
-last but not least, my 2007 piece "Several Miniatures for Saxophone quartet" won a nomination for the best composition.

Asian premiere of QuarterTone Waltz

Two great, young Taiwanese saxophone players, both students of Arno Bornkamp, Li-Fong Chen and Pikong Wu will give Asian premiere of my Quarter Tone Waltz (last year winner of Porin prize for best composition) on a concert in Taipei on April 27th. I am sure its going to be amazing!!

Students won 7 prizes!

My students won 7 prizes on recently held competitions in Imotski, Zagreb and Belgrade.
Srđan Paunović was a winner of the oldest, E Category on Davorin Jenko International competition in Belgrade. On the same competition and in the same Category Lovro Livajić and Nikola Macura won 3rd prizes. In D category Filip Orlović won 2nd prize. All of them are my students at Art Academy Novi Sad. They were accompanied by Ivana Karajkov, Ivan Batoš and Oskar Ritter.

On Croatian regional competition  held in Imotski and Zagreb Marija Vukšić from Music School Josip Hatze won 1st prize in 4. Category and Erna Čizmić Rebić and Nereo Arbula from University of Split Art Academy won 3rd prizes in 6. Category. They were accompanied by Tonči Tranfić and Mladen Grgić.
